Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Estonia: Q4 2022 Performance

During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top navigation and maps apps on iOS in Estonia showcased varied performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and revenue trends for these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 961 in the week of October 24. Subsequently, the downloads fluctuated, closing the quarter at approximately 785 in the week of December 26.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced moderate weekly downloads throughout the quarter. The app started with 558 downloads in the week of September 26 and saw a slight dip mid-quarter, ending with a notable rise to 528 downloads in the last week of December.

Google Earth had a significant spike in downloads in the week of October 17, reaching 469 downloads. However, the numbers generally remained below 200 downloads per week for the rest of the quarter.

NaviCup had a varied trend in downloads, starting strong with 201 downloads in the week of October 3, but saw a sharp decline to single-digit downloads towards the end of November. The app closed the quarter with 18 downloads in the last week of December.
